About Phi Sigma Pi

We are the Alpha Omicron chapter of Phi Sigma Pi, founded March 3, 1991. This is a co-ed organization that blends the attributes of an honor society, social fraternity and service organization. We bring together students with high academic achievements to work collectively to uphold three ideals: scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. We are a brotherhood of about 80 diverse men and women from all walks of life studying a variety of topics at the University. Over the past few years we have worked with the Charlottesville SPCA, Charlottesville Emergency Food Bank, Madison House, and Jeffrey's Gifts. Last August we were given three national awards - Best in Region, Outstanding Regional Conference, and Outstanding Service Event - that have only motivated us to impact our community in even greater ways.

Children's Miracle Network at the UVA Children's Hospital

Right now Children's Miracle Network at the UVA Children's Hospital is working to save the lives of kids in your community. In fact, 62 children enter a Children's Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute - that's one child every second. Some children are battling cancer. Some are suffering from a traumatic injury. Others require constant care because they were born too early or with a genetic disease. The Children's Miracle Network at the University of Virginia Children's Hospital is dedicated to the care of local children and their families throughout a child's adolescence.
